I mean of all the things, all the chapters to complain about, this wasn't really one of them. Id personally say this was pretty realistic for what its like to try to confess to someone. Kazuya acted like a normal person. He essentially broke things off with ruka and made an honest to god attempt to confess. If its anyones fault here its chizuru for panicking and running away from the situation, not his for once.

I got the idea after hearing about the story writing process mangaka's (and authors in general) go through. There is a lot of heavy interference anywhere from art, plot, scheduling, finale etc. by business heads. It's very rare to get no interference, unless you are writing in such a way that naturally goes well with the publisher's desire to milk the series (probably Oda & One Piece).
