Well, renting a girlfriend is a pretty miserable thing to do. And that's where the hate comes from. GF rent is the concept of this series, therefore "renting you" means "staying with you". Don't take it too literally, don't self-insert yourself and you may find enjoyable things from this series.

i just hope it doesnt turn into a harem manga, and if it does i hope it takes the "My first Girlfriend is a Gal" route and basically confirm that none of them are going to win.
