Give the guy some room to level up before spreading his stats at all. He's still level one, but he's incredibly overpowered in two stats right now. He just has to get used to using them correctly. Removing debuffs is probably another facet of his recovery stat for instance, not to mention possibly resisting them to begin with. His priority should be improving his evasion with the enchantment like he planned since he already found that sheer numbers can get past his evading, and finding more skill books for his priest skills to fill in the gaps there, as well as leveling up even once to see what kind of point distribution he can do from now on.
