Is this just another cheap plot-device to make someone seem impressive so they can be killed off to boast an EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE non-character?
Or is it just another cheap-shot at the reader where they pretend they kill of people just to have them get reanimated because you can't afford to allow your readers to feel like anything is ever at stake?
