They'll have no choice because the author haven't wrote anything for over 3 goddam years. I think a book is finally coming out or maybe came out this year but there's no news from any of the translation sites about it.
Well provided the author doesn't either come back for the manga, or they let someone else continue the story ala berserk with the author's blessing, though that could either make it better or ruin it.

Bad guys tend to project.

"There's no way someone is just good, they're scheming for power because that's what I do!"
The irony here is that Alan is scheming for power... not just the regular kind, but the supervillian "control the world" kind... it just so happens that he's doing so out of a benevolent attempt to save this portion of human diaspora from otherwise certain doom.

At some point the Verta's king will catch on once Alan's GF starts reconquering her kingdom with Alan's help, but by then the king's options will be to join or have it happen anyway.

im still worried they will axe this out after this arc, just when it finally started being good.
or perhaps go on hiatus. That will depend on negotiations, the author's intentions, and the terms of their contract.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister doesn't know what kind of bear he's about to poke. Alan probably be like...well, eventually anyway.

He's probably under assumption that Alan is 'just a human'.
No matter the force you control, you are still one person.
It's the same idea of cutting off head of a snake but from a villain POV I guess.

And Wortenia Senki is still above it in term of 'this plan is fucking terrible, what made you even think of doing this'
Even if we ignore his personal army, status, and connections

The guy is immune to poison
Has the ability to control a dragon
Is a prophet blessed by their deity
And is an expert fighter and renown adventurer head of his own clan

By now he should suspect, that he is not dealing with just a regular person, hell the moment poison failed, he should have started to wisening up

Y'see, you're thinking with logic. This guy is thinking with ego.

A part of me wonder if the young king recognize the situation (Alan is trustworthy even if he's got his own agenda vs prime minister doing shady shits) and has been allowing Alan to get away with things exactly to push prime minister over the edge.

Oh he definitely is, but the point was that Alan is genuinely good with a set of morals while the prime minister doesn't.

It's a case of "Evil Cannot Comprehend Good".

I hate it when good stories introduce dumb characters all of a sudden. The stereotypical greedy noble has literally nothing to gain by attacking a guy that's proven himself to be the strongest, and his excuse "he could seize the throne if he wanted" makes no sense precisely because he probably could do it, but has chosen not to anyway.

quite unfortunate but history has told that there're lots of dumbasses in politics. even in overlord there was that moron of a baron that lusted for albedo, the only difference is that overlord introduces capable characters first like the marquis, the fat prince, scheming princess, and the bloody emperor.

This undoubtedly one of the most interesting, congruent, and novel manga that I've read in the genre. Granted, the genre is saturated and formulaic to begin with, but still, this is a great manga that makes use of solid literary devices.

As much as I like this story the author really has no sense of scale. 800 bandits? What, do they reproduce like mushrooms or something?
I think it may count territory surrounding the capital, maybe not the capital city on its own.
Maybe some bandits were puppets of the nobles too.

The irony.. Alan have the technology, means, reason and manpower to take the throne by force, but he chose not to, instead he is avoiding bloodshed to spare the humans numbers so they can fight an Alien civilization of man-eating ants.

I imagine he explaining that to the people he is recruiting later on, also i got my expectations way too high since the chapter in which the twins showed up and said that they printed this country currency, that implies that they have "3D printers" capable of building and assemble with a large range of materials, so i was like the entire time "PRINT A ROBOT ARMY!! PRINT GUNS!! PRINT DROPSHIPS!!"

Also Alan have a point with his claims about Martial Court, the Imperial army is quite technologically advanced capable of mass colonization of space so, they probably took a LONG time to achieve it and build their ethical point of view, even banning clones while in dire need of them.

Yet, here we have Alan planning to hire children for indoctrination so they can become imperial soldiers... yeah, if the imperial army show up first before the bugs, the worst threat will be the martial court.

Thank you for the chapter.
There are three things I want to point out.
1) It is indeed true he has enough strength to take the crown by force, but taking it is easy on itself. Keeping it is more difficult.
2) Manpower is not his, it's basically his to-be-wife/queen.
If she thinks he's not worthy (by shedding too much blood or ruling with tyrranny) she may just retreat her support and people and he will be left alone with the twins a few drones and entire kingdom that hates him.
3) It is true they are capable of "printing" anything. I mean they are literally rebuilding a battleship? So they have technology for that. But the difference between copying a pieces of metal with the same composition versus building a complex machines such as drones that require also processors and other parts for them will take incredibly much longer. I mean he says they are currently building drones.. 5 of them I think? As soon as they are ready he orders them to be deployed. That means it's not an easy feat to build an army of robots. Surely not something to be done within 5 minutes. At least if all you have is a general use "printing machine", instead of some highly efficient hardware, specialized into making robots. Ofc I can be wrong on that one, but that would be weird for me if he could build an army of robots instantly then why bother recruiting people? Make bots fight the bugs. He already is in state of emergency anyway.

If he could just print a hundred robots within 5 minutes, then that's "isekai with smartphone" kind of stupid. A guy pulls out a magical smartphone, turns on maps where he has all enemies marked on red. Then he just selects them all and do whatever. Even Ainz/Momonga from Overlord wouldn't be able to fight that, and the guy literally killed over 100 thousand people with single spell. Oh and yes, it'd turn into another Overlord soon.

A tyrant ruling with skeletons/drones, masacring those who defy him. Too much of a copypaste.
