So then...she was a ghost, and just didn’t realize it herself? That was the only confusing part. Sometimes she acted like she knew she was a spirit/ghost, and other times she acted like she was (or thought she was ) human. I had the same issue with Her Special Seat, not knowing if she was just disfigured or an actual ghost/monster girl.
Either way, I oddly find the cute Kuchi-san an enjoyable character and would not be against more manga with her in it (also wouldn’t mind seeing a cute Hachishakusama, get her own manga). But just like Her Special Seat, it just seemed too short and that both characters and their relationship (how they first met and how he fell in love with her, for example) could have been explored more...
