I know the title says who's a high chance of winning in this love battle, but I hope that the author gonna put a route for each girl instead of only one... It's kinda sad seeing one of the precious heroines get brokenhearted for the sake of character development of the other heroine...

This feels like it's just the beginning i just hope we don't get 200 chapters of nothing like in Mikadono or Medaka. And I understand authors don't wanna spoil the plot, but if i knew this was a harem from the start i wouldn't have started reading it, now i'm too invested to stop.

does this mean kusunoki will realize she likes keisuke? or will this end up as an awkward love triangle where kusunoki supports otobe who likes keisuke who likes kusunoki? either way as long as hebikawa isn't involved i’m happy

Hebikawa is the only thing keeping this from being the same story told a thousand times in other titles, though.
If nothing else, she's the spice that distinguishes this dish; if she's gone, then there's very little that's actually special or noteworthy about anything that's going on here, as far as the relationship between the characters goes.

So we are really going this route, huh? Fostering losing heroines to pad the story
I mean this story showed absolutely no signs about being anything but another shounen romcom slop with even more bland FMC (which was possible apparently). Even snek is your run of the mill mean girl who will, ultimately, get redeemed.
We could be able to read something interesting if MC wasn't already in love with Kusunoki but he is and if Kusunoki did not have "i don't understand love" brain damage.

And this was the plan Hebi wanted to carry out but failed to do so—yet somehow, someone else ended up making it succeed for her.

Keisuke does not want choco or mint, he wants vanilla.
that reminds me -
It's funny that Otobe's first and second interactions with Keisuke were him making an absolute ass of himself, calling her a primary schooler, then a middle schooler, and then assuming she was a crossdressing boy and expressing outright shock every time she yelled her correction at him. Literally her parting words upon their first interaction were "you suck, dude."

But even though "he's dense and tactless at times", she likes him now because he's straightforward and has helped her once or twice - y'know, the usual formula we see so often that inexplicably makes the girl fall in love with the dense and awkward male protagonist.

And yet - Keisuke's trajectory of developing feelings for Kusunoki isn't all that different. She was continuously only wanting to hang out with him, wanted no other male friends but him, was very blunt in her interactions and wording about things that he repeatedly "took it the wrong way" and grew so conscious of her (as it's often phrased in school-age manga) that he developed feelings for her out of his perception of how she was acting toward him all on his own. She wasn't flirting, she wasn't trying having feelings for him, she's just obtuse and doesn't get "how she should act toward a boy" and Keisuke let himself run away from himself.

So he and Otobe have effectively done the same thing, and Kusunoki is as dense and oblivious as Keisuke is.

And in other news, this is why I think Hebikawa should win because she's savvy enough and confident enough to just go out and grab her man without the usual preamble of freaking out over every little thing. (half-kidding)
