My complaint here is that the author gives too little info on the past and present this leaving readers with no way to make sense because you have to make so many assumptions. Usually with a series like this there's be some info that would do a 180 in the plot or world building. an ex. Of one that does this well is raeliana sure there is a bit of a mystery but the author keeps it so that we still know a lot about the current situation ol n and its ever changing status. Everything is talked about as though the readers are aware of this world's customs which are only talked about in passing and no meaning to us since it wasn't explained. Tldr: author needs to give more info that isn't just assumptions wrong have to make as a reader
