@Diodiablo There's also the part where that whole situation was apparently caused by that seal on her ancestor fucking with their entire family line for like 2000 years. How many kids were completely ruined by having their demon blood at a decent level like she did, at time periods before they would even have had medical technology to try and help them? Meanwhile the magical girl faction seems to treat hunting the demons like a game for collecting points and accolades much of the time. Was it like that back then too, and "Shamisen" was just a victim of some ancient girl that was in it for personal glory? The background of this setting is pretty heavy.

So far the core organisation of the Light Clan has sounded nothing other than evil. Sure, the folk on the field that work for it are various types, but how they structure things, even having a point system? Pure malice.

The fact that the Dark Clan members are many not even evil, hell, majority just seem to be standard supernatural/mythological entities, I can't help but feel that the light clans aim is genocide without much care.

@Elmithian Yeah, still it's been a little too one sided so far as well with the explanations into how the light clan is operating. I'd like to actually see a dark clan member who isn't more or less just pulling mischief and pranks. Someone or something the light clan's magical girls should go after. Perhaps they could show up around the same time as one of the equally terrible light clan people and the mix of light and dark from our main cast could thwart both of them.

@Fusang: I think Shamilator probably mistranslated the right bubble on the third panel of this: https://mangadex.org/chapter/730797/16 by using the word "respirator". The term 呼吸器 refers to the respiratory tract rather than the medical device (which would be 人工呼吸器), which means a more correct translation of it would be "Yuko was having problems with her respiratory tract at that time."

@Glomoro: As Chapter 39 has stated,

it seems the problem is Shamiko took Ryoko's share of the curse as well.

I think a "normal" dose of the curse more makes them "too weak and sickly to be a threat" rather than "killing in infancy"--or else Lilith's bloodline should have been broken for quite a while.

@ascendedLight Talking about content from chapter 39 on chapter 36 is pretty much the textbook definition of a spoiler, so might want to edit your post with that in mind. I also wasn't saying anything like every single person in their bloodline had the same issues as Shamiko, just that some people may have and it could have been at times when they didn't even have the means to help such a sick person.
