yes i saw that was a magical setting and yes the silencer thing bother me more than slavery and other thing (especialy because of the slave trading in 90% of the new manga)

I feel like saying a sniper rifle is "the strongest gun" is kind of misleading because there are a multitude of combat situations where a sniper rifle would not be helpful in.

i feel half of your list might still occur, but i agree, this one skipped some annoying (and repetative) elements so far. seems like MC has some brains, art also looks nice, but still too early to decide, espescially since they skipped maybe too much.

get a m82 with a 12inch cqb barrel and a big ass muzzle break... it aint as accurate as the full sized m82 but its gonna obliterate anything within a kilometer and its smaller size reduces weight while increasing mobility and that muzzle break would allow it to have moderate to low recoil

If you mean a Barrett M82, I'm not sure how useful that thing will be in tight quarters, like corridors or urban environs. I couldn't find specs for a 12 inch barrel manufactured for this model by either Barrett or any other manufacturer. In fact, the shortest Barrett manufactured barrel for that is 20 inches; when you have that barrel, the rifle is still 48 inches (4 feet) long and weighs about 30 pounds, so it's not something you're going to be swinging around corners as easily as a 5-8 pound SMG or a 2-4 pound pistol, or even a 10-pound AK-47.

My entire point was that there's no such thing as a "strongest gun" because each type of gun has situations where its weak and where its strong.

sure the shortest manufactures barrel is 20 inches but there is a great tool called a hand saw
but yeah ok i get that different guns have diffrent strong points but what if one could make the perfect weapon platform which did everything from anti material at long range to CQC in tight hallways while staying relatively easy to operate and keeps reliability this as far as i know doesnt exist. so i tried to make that off a m82 barret
the shortened barrel makes it lighter the muzzle break mitigates recoil the 50bmg is strong enough to penetrate most if not all biological armor (like a dragons scales)and the m82 platform is fairly light for a anti material rifle and its fairly reliable in most conditions
this weight is also lowered by the shortened barrel and if made of different materials may become even lighter

Are you sure you want to cut that barrel ?
For Precision Rifle(PR) it might affect or even destroy the accuracy of the gun.... It potentially will mess up the barrrel's twist.

IMO get a .50 cal PR for long range, Bullpup one for the sake of Manouverability ... Plus a Shotgun, KSG or KS7 when you need to go close and personal

And to achieve that .50 cal power in long-medium-short engangement range we need a PR that has changeable barrel length, for this task only DTA HTI that come to my mind, but you'll need 3rd party barrel for the shorter barrels

i forgot there was a semi auto bullpup 50bmg...
also ive thought about it what about a "gun" like the PAW-20
its sub sonic so its "quieter" its slightler shorter than the gm6 and lighter and if the ability allows for it HEAT rounds rather than a steel perpetrator

My original point, and one I still believe to be true, is that there's no such thing as "the strongest gun" because every firearm has situations its suited for and situations where you're better off with something else, and the fact the description would even say such a thing shows a fetishization of firearms without an understanding of how they fundamentally work. The M82A1 linked still weighs 28.4 pounds, so good luck maneuvering that around a corner faster than a guy can close and gut you with a knife; at those kind of close-combat situations, you want something light and maneuverable, like a handgun or even an SMG, not a heavy anti-materiel rifle, while at long distances, yes, that anti-material rifle will certainly turn targets into pink mist.

Gotta to agree with your point, .50 in RoomClearing / close quarter only relevant when you have to deal with something with massive armor, such as dragons ... Or when you somehow decided to shoot throught multiple walls 😏

And dont forget the possibility of richocet too .... A richocet of
50 cal is definitifely fatal for mere mortal like us

i just tried to come up with one that could be a jack of all trades that can do anything from cqc to long range anti material pretty well
obviously some guns are better in different situations but alot of guns are multi role or highly specialized both have their flaws but normally one would consider the multi role weapon as the objectively better weapon.
in terms of "strongest gun" are you looking at purely firepower or what .. just like how anyone can claim to be the strongest man even if he can deadlift more he may not beable to lift for as long so the idea of a strongest gun is already flawed unless you get a gun that can do everything better than every gun but that would be an impossible feat of engineering

It's not a term I came up with; it's a term in the story's description. I then tried to match it against the gun depicted in the manga, which looks like a relatively low caliber (due to the lack of recoil) bolt-action rifle, so it definitely doesn't it match the highest firepower criteria for "strongest gun", meaning it has to be the other (most powerful because of the number of uses) meaning, which we all agree isn't possible.
