Are we to feel sorry for the rich girl who has finished her education, most probably with no student loan, and actually has all the options to decide her own future - including just taking the guy she seems to love? She clearly knows he's into her.

And yes, her parents are clearly horrible, but she's known that for years, so that is a constant, not a variable, and thus something she (and we) can, and should disregard.

Hey this chapter made like and root for sunbae a little
Yeah, I gotta say, her story about being forced into marriage by her parents ranks a little bit hollow when both the protagonists are people who walked away from their old lives, one in fact coming from poverty, and managed to make it on their own.
Feel sorry for her? Some of you are missing the point. Her first world problems are only a pretext. What’s interesting is how she works around that mindset with Taesoo. You have countless stories of MC liking the older chick for vague reasons but rarely do you ever see them delve into the origin. Taesoo didnt like her originally. He grew to like her because of her kindness, personality, and attractiveness. On the other side, she didn’t like him originally either. She grew to admire him because of his better handling of a similar situation as her. What you have is a semi-codependent relationship where there’s emotional progression and mutual understanding spiced up by a distance that may or may not be crossed. And we were originally led to believe it was just Taesoo crushing on his pretty upperclassman. The reality is miles more interesting than what the other heroines have, and I like all of them.

One thing that annoys me in this series, is the fact that sometimes the author make clearly that taesoo still loves mia, but now in this arc its seems like he dont like her anymore at all, also why ppl hating on mia? Saying that shes the worst option? Guys?? Look at all the shit she was been though in the past, she prob tried to suicide at some point, she is the best option, and also the only one we could feel sorry, sunbae story is kinda sad ok, but its just a rich ppl problem, she deserve love ofc, but tbh she could easily solve it, mia has almost the same problem, but 100x more serious and sad, and its something that she was 0 control about, im rlly rooting for mia and taesoo, they made a good couple and both deserve more love, ofc mia is a bit broken due everything that happened to her.
Mia is not the worst option gng, she is indeed the best one after everything
