I absolutely love this series! Such a perfect mix between horror, comedy and overall wholesomeness.
It is still pretty terrifying to see how much influence the evil spirits can have on the material world.

When bulling has come to such an extreme degree, the only way out is to cut off any interaction between the people involved. So the victim transfers school, the bullies are expelled or the victim fight back so hard that someone gets so serioulsy injured that the bullies leave him alone or someone is finally forced to intervene. The important part is that the victim themselves initiates any of those options. Otherwise they will keep their passiveness and the same problem would probably arise again.
Is bullying really that bad in Japan? People just vandalize school property and the teachers don't investigate it nor notify the parents? It seems like quite a serious negligence.
In my experience, the most infuriating thing is that the teachers try to "solve" the problem by forcing both parts to "be friends". They usually focus more, or even exclusively, on talking with the victim. Telling them to be more sociable and friendly. Instead of punishing the bullies, they shift the blame to the victim. Telling them the "reasons" why they are bullied, implying that they deserve it. It's sickening. And often, the bullies are also the "popular kids" so they victim doesn't have any support from their peers either. Even if the parents complain, the school cares more for it's reputation that for the well-being of the students.
Sadly, violence is the only option left for a lot of people. Make it clear that ypu WILL defend yourself. That they think you are not worth it, even if you are labelled as dangerous, violent or unstable. At least it's something that you chose, not something others are forcing upon you.

Ah, a great wholesome chapter full of fiber and carbs for the spirit. Hana-chan is such a good girl, and we haven't had a story focused on her since chapter 20.
Hope we get one focused on Julia soon. The author has a real talent for writing to storyboard such a plot in only so many pages.
Also, I agree with others that even if Romm was just fishing out the suicide note, he definitely did something with Hana-chan's bag, maybe putting one of his Power Stones in a pocket for protection.
