I'm glad Suetsugi is getting much more screentime now, even if they have to shoe-horn in the cousins a wee bit to make it work. Her plotline is way more interesting than Kobeni/Hakuya's, since the moment they began cohabitating they were basically already at the finish line and have now been hovering there for 9999999999999999999 chapters.

@tickub Well, it usually is the finish line as far as manga are concerned is probably all they meant by it here. It's certainly true too even beyond just what examples you cited there as well. If I were to look in my rather extensive (excessive might fight better) MDList for romance series, I'm not sure I'd find even 10 that were both actually any good and about a couple that met, did the whole song and dance getting to the usual "finish line," and then it actually continued at all for any length of time after that just to cover their actual couple life for the rest.

I'm kidding, but also not. I'm not going to say it's an objectively bad series like one of those pretentious amateur reviewers that think their opinions matter to literally anyone but themselves, but I personally have never liked it at all.

I just wrote CLANNAD because is one my favourite series and they even have a cute little daughter. I also don't know a lot of animes that have a lot of story after the Main couple start actually dating.
