Its cute how worried they are about the other but its really annoying how they never actually try addressing their underlying insecurities.

Like it feels like the narrative keeps tiptoeing around recovery and not making any real progress at all because do they love each other? Yes but both are nowhere near ready for a relationship.

I get I’m taking things really seriously but it gets really annoying when each chapter is the same Guilt Affirmation And repeat.

If it were that easy, they wouldn't be insecurities.

I get that. But there is 0 progress after 24 chapters. We don’t even know why they’re so insecure in the first place.

Thats what my problem is. I can understand them not talking to eachother early on about the ‘incident’ but…

The author could also actually hint to this incident by giving them PTSD over what happend IN the incident rather than oh boohoo! They’re gonna leave me because of how weak I am.

Its a really simple fix but would add a mystery aspect to the story, be interesting to see the characters have to DEAL with this PTSD and panic attacks, and make the story have a clearer aim rather than forcing both these two obviously mentally ill people together.

It's same with Noa Senpai wa Tomodachi where the plot basically repeats itself every chapter. Noa gets too insecure, love bombs, realizes what she is doing and the dude reassures her. At least with this manga (not Noa), they actually explore it even if the resolution is still underway and is way less overbearing and annoying. Noa and the MC have grave psychological issues that need psychological intervention.
