This is SoL though, starting with imperfect characters and developing them over time is a staple of the genre.

From everything we've seen, it seems like she lost all of her self confidence and completely bases her own self worth based on whether or not random men she doesn't know think she's sexy and jerk off to her. She has no self confidence whatsoever and is just a common slut with no morals.

To me she suffered something and created that persona.

He liked her with her previous character but now that is nowhere to be seen so he just stays away. If someone who you actively showed desinterest on, or straight up disliked since they go against your moral compass was sexually harassing or just annoying you, you too, would be fed up with it. Just because she is an attractive girl, it does not mean that anyone has to be nice to her, in fact, no one is entitled to you being nice to them, much less the people who are acting like this.

If anything, this flashback has made the attitude of the MC 100% more reasonable. Someone that corrected his life, and he respected, completely downgraded their own life and threw everything away for an absurd reason, and they feel partially at fault (for a fucking innocent compliment)

"She gained confidence in herself" idk if I actually had interact with some of you in real life, I would probably have to mention your odor at least 6 times per sentence.

I will probably give it a few more chapters before dropping this, seeing as this will probably just continue being dragged and nothing will happen. I disliked the FMC since chapter 1, but wanted to give her a chance, since something probably caused her to be like that, but seeing as the main reason is because she "got confidence" due to a compliment, it's just stupid. Like, one thing is showing off your confidence and be bold, but there is another entirely thing to be a jerk and look down on ppl. Hmmm wrong. He's treating her like garbage because she's being the opposite of what got him to respect her in the first place. Let me put it this way. Let's say you're friends with this guy who's very macho and strong and can hold his own in fights. You respect him for his strength and power. Then come a year later you meet up with him and now he's a wimp who cowers in fear when someone so much as looks at him threateningly. Wouldn't you lose admiration and respect for him?
