From everything we've seen, it seems like she lost all of her self confidence and completely bases her own self worth based on whether or not random men she doesn't know think she's sexy and jerk off to her. She has no self confidence whatsoever and is just a common slut with no morals.
Exactly, if she had actual self confidence she would respect herself more, what she does for attention is the exact opposite of that, I mean literally ch 1 she was getting off to the idea that guys beat their meat to her or find her attractive

Oh so... He liked her a certain way... and she changed into something she liked more... and he's mad about it? MC's kind of an asshole for thinking he's the only one allowed to change.
The fact that she likes this emotionally damaged version of herself doesn't mean everyone else has to like it, too. Further, if the guy she once had some feelings for is repulsed by what she's become, it would make more sense for her to reflect on the matter rather than doubling down on all the qualities he clearly hates.

How can anyone call MC a bad guy lol? If he was forcing his expectations on her i might have agreed but its a completely natural outcome. He liked her with her previous character but now that is nowhere to be seen so he just stays away. Did you forget that all of this started because she couldn't cope with the fact that he ignored her? he constantly told her to fuck off as well. How is he an asshole lol?
THANK YOU!

People are saying the MC is trash for the way he treats her, but he doesn't want to get involved with her, she is the one sexually harassing him by exposing herself to someone who is clearly uncomfortable with this situation!

That guy is the victim here, not her!

You are allowed to not like people, nobody is entitled to being liked by anybody.
The MC is ALWAYS portrayed as keeping to himself and not wanting to interact with her, but she's the one who, 100% of the time, forces an interaction between them. The MC only acts in disgust an retorts to her behaviour when provoked, but he never goes out of his way to do anything that would hurt her feelings, it's always in response to her sexually harassing him.

If she likes being a slut more than the prim and proper person the MC fell in love with, that is fine, even by the MC's stance. He just doesn't want to interact with her, and there's nothing about it that justifies being called in asshole over!

He's judgmental, mean, and constantly slut-shames the FMC. He doesn't dislike her just because "she changed" in the abstract; he specifically doesn't like that she enjoys showing off her body, despite that not harming anyone. Of course the incels here agree with him about this and don't see anything wrong with it, but this is in fact a character flaw of his.
he likes/is fine with the clumsy teasy friend but it's pure indecency with intention he hates

i think it boils down to the age old anime thing of everyone being fucking allergic to talking to each other in any meaningful way either out of contrivance or because the plot needs to keep it on hold so we can slowly hate them a bit more.

so much would be fixed if they just had one fucking clear conversation about what the fuck is going on with them but they would rather brute force their way to their own desired outcome.

male mc ignoreing everything until he can find his shy waifu

female mc forceing herself onto him until she gets the attention she wants from him

because as we know, normal human conversation is actually banned in japan, you are only allowed to info dumb your sad backstory and hope someone over hears you at some point.

From what we've seen, she constantly harasses him for not taking an interest in her ever since she changed. If anyone still try to coerced you when you've clearly express your disinterest in their shenanigans, don't you feel annoyed and want to chase them away? That's how he feels after tolerating her bullshit. The manga starts off at an unspecified period of time but it's pretty clear he has has been dealing with her being annoying for a while (maybe half a year?). We do not know if he said or did anything horrid to her right after the first time he saw her highschool debut so stop assuming. This flashback ended just as we got to see his mental reaction to her drastic shift and how he dealt with it is left untold (we do not know if he straight up ignores her, berates her or anything, why yall say he's "in the wrong") combining with how the first chapter was framed, he's justified to act how he does.

What makes you think the MC is "ignoreing everything until he can find his shy waifu"? The guy is just trying to live his life normally, quiet in his corner.

There isn't anything to talk about here, she is sexually harassing him and he made it more than clear time and time again he doesn't want anything to do with her anymore. This isn't about talking nor is the MC at fault here, he has communicated his intentions better than anyone in this story.

This is entirely the slutty senpai's fault for not respecting the boundaries he's setting and forcing herself onto him for the sake of her ego.

it's so funny how there's this war on the MC and thr FMC on who is evil or good. I want to ask. why do we need to determine evil and good? is this a battle manga? a drama? the vitriol to just slap the evil mark everywhere just disgusts me. just like the MC

Idk why people feel so strongly about all this but I can't really in good faith pretend that the MC is justified in his disgust for her. Even before she started harassing him, which is obviously wrong of her, he was already disgusted because she changed into something he didn't like. Let's not pretend it only started after she started going after him.
Plus, thinking about her perspective, she changed into something she liked, and now her friend hates her and she wants their friendship back even if she's going about it in the stupidest way possible. Sorry for calling Ishigami 2 an asshole I guess but I don't think he's justified.

Your reading comprehension level is so low that it's a miracle you were able to find the way to the forums to type this shit. Wow.

If she hates him looking at her that way, shes free to change into something he does like, but guess what?

Shes free to remain the way she is now, but the mc does not have to support her or her ways.

Why? Because thats his choice.

If she likes being this way, thats fine, but mc doesnt have to like it just cause she likes being this way.

If he changed and she didnt want to be near him or become disgusted with the way he acts, shes free to do so, but dont act like everyone has to support you when you have a change of personality or lifestyle.

I didn't lmao, that's not at all what I said. I said she wasn't justified in how she goes about it, she's wrong for constantly harassing him.

But also, MC is wrong for hating her EVEN BEFORE she started harassing him. All he saw was that she changed and felt disgusted over it, he's wrong for that. Especially after running to her thinking "I CHANGED! I CHANGED!!" and then acting like he's the only one that gets to do so.

The difference here is that most can agree that his change was for the better, why?

Cause he was failing his fucking grade, he didnt have a fucking goal in life and was on the road to becoming a NEET.

Her change is her personality that has now enabled her to thinking that no matter what she has to have every boy in school leer at her, and in doing so keeps harrasing him.

If she had left it at her one attempt and he went out of his way to harras her, then yes hes the asshole.

Your source for calling him an asshole is that he doesnt like the way she changed, but that point is moot since he isnt harrasing her.

Again, nobody has to like the way you changed or support you in your change.

Maybe I'm not making myself clear that I'm talking about their INITIAL interaction as he passes his exam.

They've both changed thanks to each other but one of them's changed for the worse, specifically in her attitude towards him. Everything that takes place after this flashback proves that.

But I don't think that at that moment they met he gets to decide if her change is for the better or worse simply because he immediately decides he doesn't like it.

Even if she proves him right later on it doesn't make him right initially. He does come off as an asshole.

We can both agree the her behavior is bad, but from what we saw from the memory he seems to be in shock reather then disgust.

And as you said, everything else takes place after this chapter, but his reaction to her change was shock, he didnt do or say anything that could label him an asshole from the memory.
