Aix definitely hasn't stated at any point that he loves Luka, at most he has said he appreciates her, but he feels close enough that he doesn't mind her moving in and sharing a space.

Not sure what you mean by "the relationship felt a bit too rushed", but they just left it there to continue developing from them living together. It was a somewhat impulsive decision, but it feels like something that could happen with the characters (IIRC it was one of the rabbits that suggested it, and Aix went along with it since he had enough space to accommodate Luka and didn't want that big mansion to remain so empty).

Is it kinda disappointing they don't end up as a couple? Maybe, but she's the only one who we have had as a real and clear romantic interest for him, and the point where they left off their relationship in the story facilitates it, so I can't be too upset about it.
