Kids on the Slope OP - Sakamichi no Melody vs. Vinland Saga OP2 - Dark Crow
Dark Crow really grew on me over time as I was watching Vinland Saga, and now I love the full and cut versions of the song. It would take something far more impressive than some brats on a mountain to beat my viking bois.
Amagi Brilliant Park OP - Extra Magic Hour vs. Tales of Zestiria the X OP - Kaze no Uta
ToZ OP is so damn epic. Ufotable's top tier animation and competent adaptations never fail to impress. This isn't as good as Brave Shine of course, but it still shows what the studio can do.
Tesagure! Bukatsumono OP - Stand Up!!!! vs. Black Cat OP - Daia no Hana
Stand Up's meta commentary made me fall out of my chair and onto the floor, which kind of sucks because I spilled my cranberry juice everywhere. The animation looks like something out of yandere sim tho, which isn't a compliment.
Cowboy Bebop - Tank! vs. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira OP - Happy! Lucky! Dochy!

Neither of these impressed me, but I'm going to vote for Ass Class because I feel bad for Korsai.

Maybe if I vote for Nadia's OP she'll finally go out with me. Wish me luck bros.
Highschool of the Dead OP - HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD vs. Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works 2nd Season OP - Brave Shine
Absolutely no contest. HOTD's upper-average song is the only thing it has going for it. On the other hand, Brave Shine is fucking magnificent. Aimer absolutely slams every song she does (in a good way ofc), and when you pair that with ufotable's incredible animation quality, you get an opening that truly stands above the rest. God damnit, now I got myself hard.
Gleipnir OP - Altern-ate- vs. Noragami Aragoto OP - Kyouran Hey Kids!!
Potential winner here I'd say. Still not as good as Brave Shine tho.
