According to MangaUpdates this is still ongoing, unless you are using a different meaning for Axed than "original publisher decides there are not enough readers to warrant paying the mangaka". And since one translation group translating in addition to another group (sniping) doesn't concern the original publisher in any way I get the feeling that we may be using different terms.
I don't mean to be offensive or controversial, I just thought I would answering the question while stating that I may have misunderstood.

Saying "This corresponds to Chapter 87 of the WN" is something like a joke though. The particulars in the WN are very much different and intricate, compared to this slapped-together, hand-wavy, oversimplified manga version.

More specifically:

- Renya arrives in the Hero's room a full day before Shion reaches it.
- Emil is not with him at the time.
- Renya goes to the Hero's room to spy, but gets caught spying. They have a conversation. The Hero suddenly attacks. Renya counter-attacks, and escapes in the aftermath of that attack.
- When Shion arrives in the Hero's room the next day, she's not actually Shion, but a doll built by Emil filled with a poison concocted by Frau. The real Shion was "kidnapped" by Renya weeks before and was never actually in danger of meeting the Hero.

I understand that some things get elided or compressed because manga readers are all about action happening constantly and/or fan-service and WN/LN are all about the slow burn of detailed story-telling, but in this case they are throwing the baby out with the bathwater in an attempt to shorten stuff up. I suggest that anyone interested in the good version of the last few chapters to go to Novel Updates and read Chapters 79-90 of the web novel.
