Women are genetically wired not to start cheating when they have a very young child to look after because that's when their child is most vulnerable and that's when they most need steady support from a male mate and can't risk losing that support by trying to get a new male mate. Their bodies produce different hormones and it's when they're the least likely to cheat in their whole adult lives. Plus they're way too busy with other things relating to childcare to be thinking about cavorting with other men. The idea of a woman seeking out affairs with a coworker before her infant is at least at in nursery school like 3 years old is just very unlikely and would be found in lower class women from families with problems with crime and drug abuse and the like.

Don't listen to this author's ghey, out-of-touch lies.

Oh god damn it, of COURSE the Manager is a dick too. Can this lady catch a fucking break?

She had an affair with the manager, and got pregnant from it. This is why she's sick and nervous. He was there for her emotionally and said the right words, making her feel like he loved her and would appreciate her. After her husband told her to shut the kid up cause he needed to sleep. Which if any single one of you tries to defend I will get unbelievably mad, because babies cry during the night and both parents need to be involved or they'll just snap. Like this!

But, he's married with a kid and another on the way. He used her vulnerability, and now wants to pay for her to have an abortion so that the affair gets covered up.
I really want to order some fists, painful ones, to the husband and the manager directly.

Same day delivery. Instant if available. Wait, it must be available.

This is why I draw a line on the sand when it comes to cheating, it is wrong regardless of the circumstances it led to that, it is a tragedy that she got dealt a shitty hand in life when it comes to partners but cheating is NEVER the answer no matter what.

Both of the men of her life are absolute pieces of garbage (the manager in a whole different level) but by no means that justify cheating, those are the consequences of her actions and she has to take accountability, if she does it or not I don't care but she has to make herself responsible for her actions.

Its not that deep. Author needs drama for the manga

So that's why she was reacting the way she did, it wasn't only the weird relationship her brother have with his new family, she got pregnant from another man and is feeling guilty about it. However, the way she reacts - for an adult - is so weird, it is literally the same as that girl in Touko's school, they are both antagonising everyone instead of acknowledging their own fault.

Also, why does the MC react like that to her sister missing? Wasn't he supposed to be a "super sibling"? "Oh but the sister was so mean" fuck that, it is just showing that the author doesn't know how to write their characters.

Jesus now his sister can't catch a break. Although, this sparks hope. Onii-chan might decide to take care of his sister's unborn kid and make him his own son, disrupting the succubus' plans.

Honestly if she came clean about the cheating to her brother, he would probs actually help. I feel sorry for her babies though.

Also it would be funny if she was just her to give advice

So wait, is the manager himself the dad too? What did he want to give her money for the hospital for?
An abortion lol. The manager just reminded her of her brother during a vulnerable moment so she dropped her guard and he took advantage of it to cheat on his own wife.

Basically the manager is a manipulative piece of shit and the sister is easily swayed and made some retarded desicions.

Granted her husband is also a piece of shit and literally told her to leave the house at night with his own child. Dude was begging for something bad to happen.

What can we say about Chika, except that she deserves what’s happening to her? We can’t blame her for everything, but she’s far from innocent.

Did she really think a married man with a child would throw his entire life away for a woman he managed to manipulate when she was mentally vulnerable?

And cheating on her husband is already a red flag, but doing it without a condom?

Chika is just one bad decision after another… and she has the audacity to say she hates everyone.

Well, if she got duped by a pathetic little player like her manager, her sister-in-law will deal with her effortlessly
Okay so I think everyone who doesn't like the sister just hasn't been paying any attention. Cause we've been seeing the messages from the manager, man. We had literally no reason to think he had a wife and kids. Why? Because we've seen messages like "Still the same with your husband? Don't worry, in case of anything, I'm all yours."

Fuck do you think that means dude? Why do you think the panels where she goes to meet the manager consist of her looking shocked and horrified when she sees his pregnant wife and kid? She didn't think he was married, and considering he took her into the back room to cheer her up, held her hand, and initiated the kiss... she had little reason to believe he was. The messages afterwards that we see from him are supportive and open.

What is it about this manga that attracts people who don't fucking read it? People who still somehow think there's been no development, people who think there's nothing strange about the mom/daughter, people who manage to get mad at characters who we've watched get fucked over...

While I agree that she didn't know he was a married man, she still shouldn't have cheated in general. Sucks that she was manipulated into doing that.

You're putting money down on a bet that's been lost like... literally years ago at this point. We know that the mother and daughter carefully manipulated the way that she met our main boy to make it look like an accident, and like last chapter the whole plan to get the daughter pregnant to allow for the rebirth of the mother's dad was revealed.

Like... they're horrible. They're genuinely fucked up and have created a genuinely fucked up plan that they may have done, or at least tried to do, several times. They're master manipulators who have deliberately pushing our boy's family apart so that he loses anyone who could help him when this whole thing starts tumbling down.

People manipulate meeting up with people all the time. "Oh he/she's gonna be there? Then ill go."

As for the second part... wtf have you been reading? Get the daughter pregnant for the rebirth of the mothers father?? Huh? If he just needed to knock her up, this could've been done much early and easily than all this.

The story keeps it deliberately vague whats happening. We know the mother and daughter chose him from a list of suitors. We know she planned a meet cute. We know they do something where they travel every summer.

We don't know why and what. You're just filling it in with your own thoughts.

Oh nooo her cheating partner was married behind her back? I feel so much for her now as she's cheating on her husband and getting knocked up. Jfc.

Shes still a hoe, its still a product of her dumb choices, just because the manager is also a piece of shit, doesn't make her not one.

I would have liked to agree with you, but first of all, I don’t hate the sister. I might have even been one of the only ones who thought it wasn’t cheating and that she was being blackmailed or harassed by her manager for X or Y reason.

Now, to get back to your message: what you’re saying is from the reader’s perspective. From Chika’s point of view, she works with the manager. Like, he’s not just some guy she met on a dating app and barely knows.

Why am I saying this? Because you’re supposed to know at least a little about your coworkers’ family situation. Look around you IRL—if one of your coworkers is married with kids, just from casual conversations, you’d know. We’re not talking about deeply private details here, just basic information about someone.

And in Chika’s case, if she didn’t know, it makes her cheating even dumber because it’s like she cheated on her husband with a random guy or someone she barely knew, just because for a few moments, he made her feel comforted like a brother.

Chika probably thought the grass would be greener elsewhere with her trash husband… but in the end, the only man who reached out to her when she was vulnerable turned out to be a scumbag. And Chika probably felt like those IRL people who eventually realize their lover isn’t going to leave their stable life for their side piece.

On one hand, she feels increasingly distant from her beloved Onee-san, she has a completely useless and toxic husband, and, to top it all off, she sees the man who probably promised her the world living happily with his main family. Meanwhile, his wife seems more than thrilled as she’s expecting a baby. And her lover has the audacity to implicitly tell her, ‘Don’t worry about getting rid of that thing in your belly, I’ll help you pay for it, and we can keep seeing each other in secret. Because, as you can see, while you might have problems with your husband, I just wanted a little fling with an easy girl since my wife wasn’t available due to her pregnancy.’ (Okay, I added some details, but that’s basically the situation.)
