Just ignore the other language, who cares anyway? People won't read in different language and will always come back to read yours even if they did check it out.
As for sniping, it's unlikely it'll happen, sniping other people's translations is scummy enough in this scene, nobody wants to risk bad rep.

For something a bit more negative: I get that you want people to read your translations, but the way you said it makes me think that you want to eventually make your own group and start doing translations for money and want to raise your reputation in the scene first. (I'm just assuming, so don't take it to heart), So, if that's the case, don't beat around the bush, I'm sure nobody really cares even if you want to do that, so its better to be honest rather than "complaining", plus you have several translations already so people know you enough by now.
