I liked the initial premise of a boy working up the courage to confess to his childhood friend. But now it is kinda silly. And because we see so little of their interactions it is hard to be emotionally invested. I think it would of been a better story if we saw the first few chapters then transitioned to a longer format after they reconnected from the year where they didn't speak with each other.
