Oshi no Ko's plot quality over time:

Akasaka is overrated and I think he can't write endings, so I'm afraid all this dramatic/fantastic setting that was very interesting will end in a lame way, I thought it would end with both siblings dying and reincarnating as close friends who would finally be together, but now it's clear Ruby will be the idol Ai couldn't, and Aqua will end with Arima... but I fear a lame execution.

A pointless rant about Kaguya (sorry if I break the rules):


I notices this when Kaguya kept going after the confession arc, there was that "elephant in the room" about Shinomiya being rich and Shirogane being poor. Then, Akasaka settled several elements like Pescatore saying "I'll gonna put everybody in Kaguya's class", he even hired a "normal" professor for the class because "she needs help", then the "rescue plan" didn't include Erika, Karen, Kashiwagi or that professor, just the "main cast" plus Papa Shirogane (fan service)... the next chapters were just about the gang doing nothing and suddenly, he got 10 chapters to close several plot lines.


That was lame, Miyuki never closed the trauma caused by his mother, nor Papa Shirogane moved on, we just saw her eating with Kei; Maki got a lame redemption with Kashiwagi; Chika... she's the chaos incarnated, so I never liked her, but her closing arc was a marriage proposal plus the ramen delusional person; but the worst offender was everybody's favorite girl: Hayasaka's closing was just a dream where Akasaka intended satisfying shippers.

The ending is ass cus his Death is incredibly pointless... not bc Aqua and Arima is a thing lmao

I actually believe that Aqua will be fine. Tsukuyomi, the crow girl, will not let his death linger. She's already reincarnated two souls, why not do one more supernatural thing? Tsukuyomi would appear behind Akane next chapter, hand held out and asks her to help her out. Akane passes out and comes to... and sees two people falling off a cliff to the water below.

overrated manga. Unnecessary develop of secondary characters. Why author waste so much time to describe them? Only Akane tried to do something with main story , all other chars , even Ruby are just extra. I expected atleast story instead this garbage. If u write a Slice of life atleast give sort of story (detectie/romantic) , but here we are. Cringe villain appears in last 10 chapters with only 1 point - just to be killed , rofl. Predicted finale. Lame arts and bad individual frames. 5/10

This is the 4th Manga that was hyped and now has a disappointing ending IDK why Akasaka Aka cant really conclude their stories, Love is War has so MANY plotholes in the ending and now THIS dude wtf.

Esse manga foi sensacional do início ao fim, não sei o porquê dos idiotas acima ficarem chorando achando a obra ruim, esse final foi um dos melhores, nota 10/10.

One of the worst ways the ending could've happened. Like, wtf was that? Akasaka Aka, you fucking suck.

Overall, the manga was a 4-5/10 realistically, but a 2/10 personally.

And this ending is bad. Not okay, not meh. Just not good.

A good example for this is angel bets. First half is okay. Second half is what we remember. And it's God tier! It had meaning it wanted to convey. This didn't.

Undid things that happened in previous chapter and arcs.
Kinda similar to GoT ending tbh. Which is harsh but fair criticism.

Series started strong and interesting with murder mystery and darker tones but kinda fell of half way. Mostly because of multiple story threads, bad pacing and author not knowing how to end the manga. When it come to pacing, the chapter can end on a plot thread and the next chapter they are somewhere completely else doing something other. It genuinely leave you confused if you accidentally skipped a chapter. It happens more than once too!

When people call this manga "shit's so much ass". It's actually genuinely fair criticism.

I believe they could have dealt with the series bad guy in a better way. I would have rather seen get arrested and sent to jail instead it ending. No unmasking of the criminal and facing society's condemnation and losing it all. It's a more satisfying ending and proper conclusion to that entire plot thread.

The art was great tho. 4,5/10

Was 7-8/10 in the start. Pretty good and all. Ending dropped it to 2/10 for me.
This shit is ass.
