How should I say it in English... he is an 'embodiment of want' of certain group of people that desired cthulhu existence based on human knowledge about the real (?) Cthulhu. Basically a real version of fictional cthulhu but not mythical one which is the original.

This is a case where the oversimplified one doesn't really do as much justice to the humor you read in the original imo. 2662 is basically a 12 year old kid. The reason for why it was changed to Keter is because 2662 claims it'll be able to leave on its own anyway and that it'll start its own cult eventually.
