Personally speaking... I am on the side of the people in the dustbox, and I really want them to live, i know they are probably responsible for some people's deaths, but... I know things are more complex than them just being "monsters".

I don't even want Lotus to kill those two that found him and I entirely understand his rage now.

But at the same time, I don't want harm to our little crew too.

It isn't frequent I am caught with such contrary desires in a story, Zyugoya-sensei really knows how to write a story.

Oh, by the way... the art in Zyugoya-sensei's pantreon that had the "loud" vampire couple was these two here, Cedar and Azalea, and apparently... Cedar do be packing.

Our precious bean is a pervert... it isn't anything new XD.

It's a bummer that the story has so few chaps left, cause it seems that it was leading up to some sort of confrontation with the high vampire society and it's corruption.

A corruption so great that it forced the exiles from this society to become morally broken extremists to be able to combat them, which gives us clues to how fucked up higher vampire society must be if their enemies must do this to survive.

Most likely, this seems to be one of Zyugyoya's preferred ways to end this sort of work.

The vampire high society from outside is competitive, individualistic, more violent and less prone to having children.
The banished vampires in the Dust Box are cooperative, community-driven, less violent and more prone to having children.

The former regularly commits tsujigiri on the latter as a form of population control (even though they're already imprisoned). Half of their law enforcement (lumberjacks) are secretly corrupt and outright break the law to further their own personal agendas.

Meanwhile, internal factions in vampire society want to change the status quo through revolution, with Sumire and Ren being roped into the power struggle as the social experiment that will prove if the revolution's goals are valid or not.

All of this is being built around the premise of a man and a monstergirl learning about the joys and tribulations of becoming husband and wife. Zyugoya is cooking up quite a story here.
