Because this particular dragon expresses they want to meet with Ruri; so it seems to be a kind of rare chance that dragon is the proactive side on communication and they want Ruri to meet with it and see what it wants

Hear me out though, guys. It starts off as a silly thought, but then it sinks in that it’s something I can see author pulling on us.
What if the reason this dragon wants to meet woth Ruri is because it is looking for a bride? So, this meeting just ends with no real progress, just Ruri learning a thing or two about herself, but nothing too deep, and there’s no more communication whatsoever anymore?
