And when i read the WN, i mean sasha clear love hyce but like MC she dense. She use "the dream" as to reconnect relationship with Hyce , but my MC like a chad , he dont need Romance or Friend . All he need is BUNKER BUSTER the iron of destruction =))))))

The opposite of Love is NOT Hate ... it's Apathy. He's surely got a lot of hatred bubbling around the edgiest of the edgelord pots. God I swear Edgy has lost all meaning in media. A lot of people calling him edgy are glossing over the fact dude almost died because of their fuck ups, even in real life some people NEVER get over that that isn't at all being childish or edgy but a completely valid respond to being kicked out and almost dying. The trauma of something like that on top of losing a part of yourself something major as your eye of course he's super salty. I'm sure the MC will grow out no people in his life eventually otherwise we wouldn't have a story. And on that topic of that he clearly still respects and talks to the guildmaster so he isn't entirely isolated he just needs new friends. So far its pretty realistic in his bitterness and anger he isn't going out for revenge or anything like that but very justifiably cut them out of his life. As for his former best friend I don't think she's irredeemable but boy does she has a lot of work to do fix the royal fuck up she started.

She can resolve this just by staying with him after he passed out and explain everything, but instead she left and not even try to apologize to him in the span of 2 years, she know that she fucked up but she doesn't want to recognized it, only after being confronted by mc does she realized it and regret

Forgiving someone who did you wrong doesn't necessarily mean you have to allow them back in your life.
I think MC should forgive her (eventually) even if he decides to keep walking down his path on his own so he can leave his rage behind and grow as a person.
That being said, I'm siding with the MC, 2 years and not even a letter after he almost dies? That's cruel...

I can almost see how she hasn't apologized in 2 years, at 1st he fell unconscious after going off on her so I can see her team pulling her on a quest to give him some space, then when he recovered he was staying in ghetto inns and probably actively avoiding her and her party (no phones and required meet ups) I can see him actively rejecting any letter she sent him via the guild (which probably doubles as the post for the setting) , this doesn't mean it forgivable that it took that long, add the fact she was a bitch to him on their last adventure together and a bitch to him while kicking him out (the other team mates were nicer and most forceful one was trying to be gentle about (and the archer was against it)

I also thing people here are overdoing the edge lord theme sure he has an eye patch but he did actually lose an eye, and he still has trust issues

A lot of people are conflating him not wanting party members as solely being because he can’t trust anyone and he’s big cool edgy guy, but it’s not really true.

It’s fairly obvious that he does a lot of collateral damage when he fights just by the nature of using modern weaponry (even more powerful versions too). He can’t safely use that with teammates near him. Sure some part is for the lack of trust in people, but it’s only really half of it.

i mean MC chilled , he not seek revenge . Although he dislike Sasha, he still wish that her wish come truth.
With his power he OP enough to solo anything tbh
With this build up , he hope he will be free from the stress and trauma . DOnt need sasha comeback beside to do that though.

In the LN/WN, to this point early in the story Reynold and Piazolla still think that banished Hyce (MC) is a good desion . They use the excuse that kick him make him awaken his power but the truth is they both love sasha and want him out of sight
