I understood his perspective from the outset. He was hurt by someone he trusted, only for them to not try and apologize for 2 years. It's up to him if he wants to accept her apology or not. Is he overdoing it? Yeah, but he had a near death experience, so I think that he should be cut some slack. She should have apologized IMMEDIATELY and had that talk a long time ago. I do think that he shouldn't cut EVERYONE out his life, but he should get that world's therapy or somethin'.

While translating it, I localise it a fair bit, to make it read better (to what matches in my head) and I definitely touched up the emotional lines a fair bit in this one, I would've gone a bit more into it, but decided to keep it relatively tame as I'm not sure if I would change the tone or the way the line is supposed to be delivered (the emotion it conveys), glad to see people are engaged with the series, with no real complaints about the translation and quality overall of the editing and such.
I'll keep working on this just cause I like the series actually, i don't even know if GD will pay me for the TL for this but idc lol, scanlation work is free fan work, it should be worked on regardless of donations or not, anyways once more, I'm just glad people are so engaged in this series and liking it.

As someone who's read over thousands of chapters of chinese shitpost manhua that is poorly edited and mtl'd lol.

They're not even enemies. He just wants nothing to do with her, which is completely justifiable.

As I said in Ch. 1 or 2, I'm in a relatively similar situation with my family. I'm 31 and cut them off two years ago at 29. It's a long story, but the short of it is that on top of the blatant favoritism shown towards my sister my entire life and being treated like a doormat, they extended that treatment towards my then girlfriend/now wife with the final straw being my sister calling my wife a "fat, psycho bitch" unprovoked and when I went to confront her over this my parents and other siblings sided with my sister and said the "you know how she is." excuse instead of holding her accountable. So I cut them off and to this day, over two years later, I have not received an apology. I've heard "we're here if you want to reconcile." and "our olive branch is extended." but never "I'm sorry for what we've done."

I'm not out for revenge, I just want nothing to do with them and even if I did get an apology I wouldn't accept it now for the same reason as Hyce, it's been 2 years and "now" you're sorry?

I get why the MC is still bitter, because he has a point. If they only thought of his well being and that's why they banished him, then why not apologize and convince him in joining their party back to make their dream a reality? Apologizing now is worthless, it's only to appease themselves because they feel guilty, which doesn't do anything to the affected party.

This is quite possibly the most divisive I have ever seen about a manga character. I understand both perspectives. Sasha was protective while Hyce felt betrayed and neglected. Now Sasha wants to make amends to Hyce only after he got stronger but Hyce wants to be left alone and doesn't want to exact revenge on Sasha for ditching him. Sasha should honestly leave Hyce alone because she has lost him in the 2 years. If Hyce is better off alone and only hurts monsters and not innocents then its fair in my book.

He is not. He trained like a mad man, both body and mind in order to utilize the power. Remember, his power is only summoning weapons. It gives absolutely no stats or other power ups. Being able to spam weapons doesn't really help when there are people /monsters with almost instant movement speed abilities to close the gap. He went back to his master (the guild master) to be trained from the ground up. And it was hell on earth. He is like on par with most high class martial artists now. So Sasha fucked up even there for not allowing him to grow up physicallly first before kicking him out.

It’s fairly obvious that he does a lot of collateral damage when he fights just by the nature of using modern weaponry (even more powerful versions too). He can’t safely use that with teammates near him. Sure some part is for the lack of trust in people, but it’s only really half of it.

That is mostly it. He doesn't get effected by his own arsenal, explosives included so he literally gets nerfed if there are other people near him when he fights.

In their ranking system, even without weapon power, he would be considered at least mid to high A rank (below S) with his sheer physical abilities alone. He is VERY smart with his approach to fights as well which is a huge plus and has lots of experience he accumulated over the years.

In short, Sasha kicked out a golden goose before he had the oppurtunity to hatch.

So....doesn't he take some A or B rank quests without crumpling monsters into gore? I also can't tell if he wants to take S rank quests or if it's being forced on him. The guildmaster should have final say on giving such missions to a solo, but it doesn't sound like MC is pushing him to provide harder quests.
