Like he held a grudge for something she didn't intentionally do (almost getting him killed).

Sure he's an edgelord for sure but if she wanted really to clear the air that she didnt set him up to get brutally murderized by a dragon. She'd have the decency to clear things up ASAP.
I mean considering that there couldve gone to a route that their reputations could've been questioned if someone made rumors or they got reported by giving a suspicious tip that had almost cost a person his life. So leaving it at that state for 2 years cuz he didnt make a big deal and report or make rumors about them setting him up to die, definitely meant she didnt care enough to clear the misunderstandings up

If you think about it. The mc isn’t wrong. She made no attempt at apologising after so long. She turned their dream into only her dream. At that point when she left him, their original dream was already broken. She broke their dream, trust, and almost got him killed.

Those 2 doesn't deserve the ink wasted on them through out the entire story. Both have absolutely no redeeming qualityies what so ever. Considering every other character and their arcs, its suprising how author completely left these two in the dirt. They have ZERO character develeopment from start to finish. Whenever i read the name Piazzola, i just roll my eyes. What an obnoxious irredeemable bitch.

At some point, in the Cross Kingdom arc, where Hyce and Piazolla is paired together, I thought there will be an improvement in their relationship. Hyce even went kabedon on her and revealed his damaged eye to her, as if to make sure she was part of what caused him to wear the eyepatch. But nope, Piazolla remains the same f'in bitch still on the next time and the next. I was open and truly wanted for the relationship between the two to improve, but oh well. 😔

Y'know what? Out of curiosity I want to see a different scenario where Hyce was killed by the dragon, then Sasha sees his lifeless body and instantly regrets everything. She'll become depressed but still managed to get their team to rank S.

Years later, Sasha took a "normal" S-rank quest and there they find Hyce sitting on hundreds of dead bodies, looking blankly into them. Then points his gun towards them.

Would you keep your best friend in your team, when they're constantly almost dying and you're about to do even more dangerous quests?

If yes, then you'd be a shitty friend just getting them killed lol.

Only reason he got power was the plot-armor. (and had he not been kicked out he'd never have been in that situation to figure it out anyway).

Lastly... he was never that pissed about that part in the first place, it was thinking they'd thrown him away to die, cause before that he was thinking "I'll get strong enough to rejoin". and had hope, so he's probably in part hating himself for believing they'd actually try to kill him.

Otherwise it makes no sense for him to hold a grudge, because he already didn't hold a grudge for that, and his only reason to hate was thinking they tried to kill him.

O and his false belief that the other dude wants her, and probably thinks they're together now, instead of not being a bitch and just talking shit out.

At least she apologised, while he just one sidedly hates, despite having himself fucked up with falsely accusing her of trying to murder him. Hence self-hate making the most sense, because that's the only thing that would fit with the established attitudes and beliefs.

Probably all and act to make her hate him so he can then justify his hate towards her. (like a bitch XD )

For the most part the mc is right, I currently see no reason to forgive her, (it's not like he out for revenge, he just want to be alone after being betrayed by the person he trusted most even after she help kick him out of the party and crushing his dream)

This would be valid... if he hadn't already moved past that, re-read the chapter where he almost dies, his hate is born from thinking they tried to kill him, not getting kicked out. (which is what makes him pathetic, because that's flat out wrong, and he knows it)

Thing is, his trust in people was never broken.

With what has been shown and established, what is broken is his ability to trust himself.

Because he didn't have a grudge for getting kicked out, and was thankful for the flower tip.

But he then falsely believed they tried to kill him, which is where his hate comes from... but they didn't try to kill him.

So the only thing left would be self-hatred for believing that people who cared for him would do such a thing.

Cause his trust was never betrayed, sure the promise was broken, but he can at least see he'd do the same if it meant his fried would die. (Any reasonable person would, you don't just drag your best friend to their death, because you want to keep them in your team, you just bring them along for the ones where they can help without being at risk of dying).

If the author does write it, that he can't trust others, than that would honestly be stupid... since there is no reasoning for that with how it is already written, there's nothing for him to base that on, because he already moved on from being kicked out, and only the idea of them trying to kill him off is there... but he knows for a fact that's false.

So the only thing that is left is hating himself for believing his friends could be such monsters.

Thus he's the one that can't be trusted, because he having such doubts despite no proof, would likely keep thinking like that, and be the one backstabbing team members, hence he's solo and never had anyone else join him. (it's trust issues, but in the sense of him being unable to trust himself not to misjudge and harm others).
