Why do I feel like the girl are not innocent as she appears to be. Her plot seem to be not the revenge but make him her helper instead as she not forgive him yet. the story will progress as she try to forgive him and Mc move on in his suicidal thought.

Or maybe... she simply took advantage of a hole left in another family and get it for herself?

at first i thought the story would revolve around her lack of awareness that he was the one who killed her father and he'd feel guilty for developing a relationship with her as a result.... that seemed like the most obvious direction to take!! I'm delighted that the author chose to deviate from this path. i'm really curious to find out what her true intentions were all along and how the manga will unfold.

So I think it will end with She will kill his mother in front of him or She will kill him.
I don’t see any good ending happening so far.
Yeah, was thinking that too. Probably plans to kill his mother in front of him as payback or something. "Thriller" tags and stuff.

I know this is the Japanese justice system we're talking about here but the idea that he got seven years of jail time for murdering his sister's rapist still is rather surprising. There's real world stories all the time about people being found not-guilty or at most house arrest for similar things. That being said, I do hope this stays more wholesome and less revenge based with the girl.
He was probably a minor at that time, so he got a extremely lighter sentence.
He also had mitigating factors on his side (mental health problems caused by the rape and suicide).
Even public opinion was on his side, if Japan has a jury system similar to the USA, then another factor in his favour.

Wow i wonder if people actully want this to be some psycho murder game from a little girl or just want to see people suffer. I mean it CANN go this way but this also can be somthing else, i dont get the psycho killer vippes here some people seem to get just cause she knows means she wants to go killer and i think doing this would be the boring way we have WAY TO MUCH revenge stories, a good redemption and forgiving story would be much more interesting, atleast for me.

But who nows murder sels more i guess.

So MC was NOT a minor, that explains his fear of having been recognized in the restaurant.
He looked like a highschooler in the first chapter...I'll give it a second glance, is possible the author did write his age, or possibly added years so to make sense how he can drive, got a real punishment and had his face on the news after a negative backlash from readers.

Even the law decided to be lenient, I wonder if his mother was really bullied by the neighbors or it was all in his mind.
Seems even clear that the mental hallucination he have of his sister changes based on his feelings, he wants to live, he wants to return to a normal life or the "phantom" wouldn't have supported him.
Sadly the author made clear how the girl bully doesn't want to stop, she will make research on him and find some way to ruin his life, she wasn't scared when running away.

And now I wonder if the girl wants him to recover as way to apologize for her father actions or wants to get close to him and give him a lot of despair, maybe kill his mother before his eyes, as the problem with her relatives was probably that they hated having the daughter of a rapist under their roof.

People from Asia can look very young. That's like, common knowledge my man.

Once again, this is Japan. I'm quoting @slyss here:

"This is one of those stories where the context of being in Japan is everything.
Someone like this dude would have been hailed as a hero where I live, hell, he would've had the support of people even while in jail.

But in a country like Japan where the public image, social harmony, and anti-conflict culture is EVERYTHING, regardless of how "understandable" his action were, a label as heavy as "murderer" is not only gonna stick to him, but also to his loved ones (Like it was shown with his mother).

That's the kind of mark that will stay with his family for generations, twisting their public surroundings like a curse."

Think maybe...

IF she's actually that teacher's daughter, Yuri might not have been his only victim. He may have been molesting his own daughter too. So if she's reaching out to the MC, she's opening up to the guy who freed her from that hell. Maybe. idk. I'm trying to stay optimistic.

What kind of social order can you maintain if there's no criminal punishment? It'd be one thing if Kazuma actually happened to interrupt the teacher raping Yuri and killed him on the spot. Then it would be counted as defending his sister. However, he actually travelled to the teacher's house and killed the man there, a considerable time after the crime of rape had happened. That's a murder already. If you don't send a person to prison for that, you send a message to the society that it's okay to go and kill the person you believe raped your family member. You know, for a few years now quite a few possible cases of false rape accusations have also appeared, simply due to regret or to gain monetary benefit. It's already really hard for the justice system to figure out these cases, so a single enraged brother, father, boyfriend, or husband definitely is not suited for the job.

Previous chapters make it seem as if the mother doesn't actually know who Shiika is
