Well, technically she is, according to her ID, not a middle schooler but of the same age. I mean, she was born in this year and now its that year ...I don't really like that its a grown up dating a middle schooler but then again this is pretty common for japanese culture I guess. What adult in their right mind would date someone they liked in middle school?! Also middle schoolers literally don't act this way but ok
This is in my planned to read.@Painasbread you :funny: but you no comment.
Well, my planned to read list isn't exactly getting smaller every day, so it could have been a while before I answered your comment... So I chose do it now.@Painasbread you :funny: but you no comment.

From the first chapter, this story seems to be anguish bait.
You said "depressing and awkward as hell", anguish bait is exactly that: the further you continue the story, and the more these feelings are amplified.
Since I didn't read much of it, I can't confirm if the manga has anything else to offer later on, but to my knowledge, if it's already this bad in the first chapters, who am I to trust author will change their ways for me?
This isn't worth the read imo. Maybe people who like to get hurt will enjoy this, but I don't. Maybe others will too, but I honestly don't see what more in this story could be worth the pain.
I think the age gap in this is very strange but I get that a relationship like this wouldn't normally happen of course, they're both just clinging past feelings and memories of each other since it's all they have of each other now that 7 years have passed.
