the cover is giving off tunnel to summer (light novel) vibes, although this is completely different

Wait... I think the admin put the wrong author for this manga. This manga suppose to have the same author as Finder Goshi no Ano Ko.

I don't really like that its a grown up dating a middle schooler but then again this is pretty common for japanese culture I guess. What adult in their right mind would date someone they liked in middle school?! Also middle schoolers literally don't act this way but ok

If they're committed to each other so what's her problem? Did she feel like a stranger in her different timeline?

Well, technically she is, according to her ID, not a middle schooler but of the same age. I mean, she was born in this year and now its that year ...

@Painasbread you :funny: but you no comment. :(
This is in my planned to read.
I was curious about what people had to say about it because the title "How to break a triangle" seemed pretty straightforward (meaning what's going to happen should be pretty easy to guess even whithout having opened the book), meaning it could get really good or really bad. Apparently it's not that well recieved :p

Anyway your comment made me laugh, that's it and I'm not making fun of your feelings, I just found the way you said it funny. I could try to explain why but I don't think it's that important, I'll give you a comment on what you said after I've tried reading this ;)

I really feel like you couldve made Aya a senior in high school and koto have a job of some kind and still tell the same interesting story with it being less creepy but i do really like the characters so I'll probably keep at it

Well, my planned to read list isn't exactly getting smaller every day, so it could have been a while before I answered your comment... So I chose do it now.

From the first chapter, this story seems to be anguish bait.
You said "depressing and awkward as hell", anguish bait is exactly that: the further you continue the story, and the more these feelings are amplified.

Since I didn't read much of it, I can't confirm if the manga has anything else to offer later on, but to my knowledge, if it's already this bad in the first chapters, who am I to trust author will change their ways for me?

This isn't worth the read imo. Maybe people who like to get hurt will enjoy this, but I don't. Maybe others will too, but I honestly don't see what more in this story could be worth the pain.

You called it "anguish bait", which I love. I always call stuff like this "trauma porn".

I went to therapy for my trauma. I don't need to vicariously live it out via fiction.

Cheers.

Who else thinks that Aya disappeared because of Erika? She wished for Aya to come back, who is to say that she didn't wish for her to disappear?

I think the age gap in this is very strange but I get that a relationship like this wouldn't normally happen of course, they're both just clinging past feelings and memories of each other since it's all they have of each other now that 7 years have passed.
It's sad to see how much koto has a hard time accepting that she's changed in these 7 years despite always being stuck in the past and wishing to go back to it. Change inevitable unless of course you happen to disappear for those seven years.
It's interesting how Aya used to be the more mature one and now she's suddenly faced realizing she is a kid and was always a kid. I think her mother leaving her and then her having to care for her grandpa made her be one of those kids that "grew up too fast" especially now so that she has to get a job and act like she's not from 7 years ago. I want to see Aya having a happy childhood sadly though that's in the past. I look forward to seeing her future, I'm just praying she ends up with someone more close to her in age.
Erika is by far my favorite character though. I legit need to see her living her happiest life by the end of this series.
