@marqfja87 But he looks the same in every panel, and he has quite a bit of hair, even in the first panel, more than what a typical newborn would have. The whole scene just looks strange to me. Where are they? Why are they speaking in exposition? Why are they being so dramatic?

@PTRB: 1) I wasn't saying that several days have necessarily passed.

2) Even if it was several days since birth, he could've been essentially unconscious for that time. We already know childbirth is a huge ordeal for the mother; can you imagine what it's like for the baby?

3) It's practically standard for fictional newborn babies to have much more hair than a real newborn would have.

4) They're obviously in their home.

5) The dramatic exposition from them is more for our benefit than anything else, I think.
