What an utter pushover this guy is... Too bad he will probably end up getting some love in the other world, since he obviously doesn't deserve any of it, seeing how much of a doormat he is.

There was literally no reason to not get anything out of the divorce even if he was ready to move on, it just looked like his brain dissociated and he just auto-picked >YES at every branch of the dialog tree. Act like a responsible adult, goddamn. I'm still waiting for either the money scheme to fall apart or the interdimensional room screwing them over for treating everything so lightly.

This can't be the full end of his marriage. It seems like it was put in the story for a reason more than what it has served thusly. Something is going to come back from this to either make them fall in love again, or make extra drama as the ex wife keeps popping into his life somehow. If this is all it was going to be for, it would have been better to just gloss over everything from the start.

@raidanzoup in all honesty, just getting the other person out of your life cleanly is a blessing. our family had a few friends who went through nightmares with divorce for months and one had kids so the bullshit went on for years afterwards. If you can just take what you put in and leave, its all I would want.

@Siikalahna pushover... not so much. think of it this way, not sure how it is in japan but if shit gets messy, that's a lot of court dates, dates he may not be able to attend, and when you are in a relationship that isn't working, you know a long time in advance that its not working, you only delude yourself into thinking something can be done, so long as the other party isn't deep dicking you, just a clean break is best.

guys whats the problem in his reaction to the divorce? dude has a new way of making easy money, he could get more if he was good at it but still why would he want to keep stuff that reminds him of his ex-wife?, he was pretty much prepared for it, so it wasnt a surprise, in fact it looks like he ''won'' by leaving that easily, she said it herself, it feels like he's dumping her, she didnt expect him to just agree to it, this man just wanted to clear himself out of there, no need to make unwanted drama, he just wants a clear start and i can respect that

He already felt the marriage wasn't working, and with the whole summon thing he has pretty much infinite money anyway. Why bother with the divorce? Taking the bare minimum and moving on quickly is the best for him, at least financially. If it turned into a drawn out process, the suspicious income and purchases would come around to bite him in the ass even more easily.

Curious to see how long it takes him to move on emotionally, and what mistakes he'll make while recovering.🙂

What's even the point of knight paying him a wage with his trading possibilities? Agreeing on resummoning as frequently as possible would be far better to get more skills

@alidan Just want to point out making court dates would be zero issue here. If you recall he was once summoned in the middle of a conversation and returned without the other person noticing. Time in this world is effectively stopped when he is summoned to another world, and with the setup he has now, he has basically nothing but free time.

One of the complaints I'm getting is that basically his ex-wife was trying to push him to take some of the stuff, so he definitely could have at least asked for some things then if she argued he lets her have it to save money. Combine him basically agree to buy all these things over again (even if he only paid like 50% the first time) with how blatantly amateur these guys are at the reselling and it will rub people the wrong way a bit as it makes him look stupid for actively making decisions that will cause financial strain. Though in this case, he seemed more concerned in just getting things over with, as he prioritized getting out over even getting all of his stuff based on that line about throwing out stuff.

@Owyn Probably a rule that he has to get some tangible compensation for his services. The skills are from the 'God' person, not the summoner. He serves his summoner, not 'God'. He gets skills when passing the gateway between worlds, but the summoning that allows him to pass probably requires some payment from the summoner. Resummoning as payment would be like paying a worker with more work.

@MCX01 It was mentioned at the beginning of the series that his marriage was already failing after 3 months and that his now ex-wife was cheating on him.

Fuck the wife, you did well bro.
Should've left laughing and smiling just to destroy her more but that's enough for now.
Who cares about a plain woman when you got isekai girls and money.

Well, that was a horrible decision. Hubby was about to strike it rich and you divorce him?

That ex-wife is gonna regret it once he becomes a billionaire.
