Black haired dude is Brown hair's ex (I am assuming he is returning from military service based on Blue hair's reaction to the dude in uniform). Based on what Brown said, and in the flashback, Black hair was a sleezebag so Brown and Black ended on bad terms. Blue hair is attempting to keep Brown away from Black

As for the beginning, IDK my best attempt at understanding it is Brown hair figuring out/coming to terms with her sexuality.

I can't remember much from the beginning but Brown hair never really seems "interested" in sex, or maybe she's just inexperienced (which could explain the sucker punch, but that may have very well been because her friend who is a woman was going to kiss her.) In any case, her watching porn could be a few things. 1. Comphet, watching straight porn to "convince" herself she's straight and/or into men. 2. she's realizing she likes women.
Important to point out when she was watching porn, when the focus was on the man she doesn't have much of a reaction, but when it was on the woman she gets flushed and does her nail biting thing. This could be seen as either option, but I am more inclined to believe it's comphet.

If you're talking about Blue, she's a friend who's helping out a friend. Besides the bust stuff, she's been pretty straightforward I think. Seems like Brown is the one that might not understand her preferences. If Brown is actually dating men (and hasn't said she's Bi), it makes complete sense why Blue never thinks she's an option and makes Brown's being OK with the bust stuff seem more confusing for Brown, not Blue.

Edit: "(and hasn't said she's Bi)" is added for clarity since it's apparently needed for some.
