Site crashing on iOS safari :fixed: probably, post if not

Whenever I open a chapter it loads for a few seconds then says “A problem repeatedly occurred “

Can confirm- same thing happening for me. iPhone 7 running iOS 13.3. Was working fine until today.

+1 Same here on IOS on iPad.

The new upgrades are causing a repeating crash that eventually leads up to "a problem repeatedly occurred" message. This is only while reading a chapter. Doesn’t matter what settings I choose (compressed/original, preload, etc.).

Acts like a memory leak.

Same problem here. Keep try but getting the same results. Tries to load twice then crashes.

I had this same problem, and now can't even get the chapters to load briefly.

Safari on iPad ... no browser addons, adblockers, script blockers, etc. Just stock, unmodded Safari.

iPhone 7
iOS 13.3
Safari (whatever ships on iOS 13, possibly Safari 13?)
Using the Safari Plus tweak for jailbroken iPhones, although the issue persists when in a stock, unjailbroken state.
ISP isn't blocking it, checked on different devices.
Haven't tried a VPN, but it shouldn't matter as it's not the ISP or anything else blocking it.

@Stardust-kyun I have absolutely no idea. iOS 11 is having issues, anything past should be absolutely fine.
Not that it makes much of a difference with Webkit, but can you try an alternate browser?
And assuming Safari has incognito tabs, try it there as well, or clear cache/data/cookies for MD specifically.

I was having issues on IPad Air 3rd gen on IOS 13.6. Crashing due to full memory.

Something must have been fixed on the server side as everything is working now no problem.

Local/US fed govt are not blocking mangadex, I have not used vpn
My isp isn’t blocking anything since I can load and view images for a moment before safari says “webpage crashed: a problem repeatedly occurred on [chapter url]”
Changing from compressed to original does nothing, private browsing seems to actually work, gonna clear my cookies and come back
Conclusion: Cleared cookies, seems to have fixed the issue

@AlphaE Try incognito/private/whatever it's called, or clear site data/cookies for MD.
