On the one hand, he was told not to get involved with the MC. He didn't, he just kidnapped his vice-president. Depending on the interpretation, you might say he obeyed the order.

On the other hand, he still got involved with the target, through his guild member.

Then again, none of this matters because he's unlikely to survive the night. In probably a few minutes, he will know he just f-ed up.

Edit: just thought he might even have to regret it for a loooong time. There seems to be some personality change involved when raising a shadow, but the core character is still present.
