@Suzukino interestly i've met other girls on games, but they were playing as guys, so its all a reversal on the net coz the guys would pose as girls in order to get free stuff
I don't get the playing with a girl while being male. I play with whatever I want, but generally, I play a male. Some RPGs even let you put dresses on the males just for lols haha.
@Hollow7F bruh, it's a joke. That meme is older than I am: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/there-are-no-girls-on-the-internet
TL;DR the 90's were crazy time and there were more catfishes than there were real girls at the time. But some memes never die even if they become irrelevant.
@NeroPR I generally do it on repeat playthroughs to mix it up, personally.
@raze2012 i know hes joking but i wanted to take the chance to clarify coz i've seen actual ppl go ''nah girls dont go into the internet and play, thats just a myth'' and they were deadass serious coz they got aggresive when confronted, its like they believed the meme so hard that they refused to awknowledge they were wrong, weird but it happens.
@NeroPR That depends on detalisation. If an RPG game can give me compelling male character (me being male) - sure. But for the most time female characters are just more attractive (also you look at your character's butt 99% of the game - might as well make this butt pretty). Though if I ever create second characters I tend to do both male and female just for variety (unless there are unique customisation I want to try).
@kwendy Same! Usualy i only make male characters when i can make them look cool, if they end up looking bad (most non-anime style'd games) i swap to female. Females usualy get the good hair and clothing colors too(high contrast), so if i don't really feel like im going to be using the char as a stand-in for myself, i usualy view my chars as just another one of the npc's in the story, but i happen to have control over them. I've always heard that the "player character" is supposed to be a shell for you to "project" on-to but i never really felt like any of them were "me", though thats probably because customisation wasnt a thing like it is now? idk
