They will both be miserable until one of the two randomly chats with some NPC (perhaps Gojou chats with one of the other girls that fawn over him) that NPC will impart some wisdom, he will have an epiphany and will run to either confess or tell her that he wants to keep doing cosplays together. This might also happen the other way around.

Usually authors put a "yay, I reached 100" on the 100th chapter. This author has no enthusiasm at all. It was even drawn to the girl's face at chapter 101.
