Actually, I don’t mind a side story spinoff of “Sein’s Great Adventure with Middle Age Men”.
The snippets look quite interesting and it could give more world building from a perspective from a completely different type of character.

Though clearly, the artist has to be different to keep the author as healthy as possible.

And i wonder if he'll keep going with Frieren party after finding Gorila, because it seems like Gorila is also part of the empire shadow warriors, so will he desert the shadow warriors to join Sein on Frieren party? Or will he maybe die?

They should just move the manga to a biweekly schedule instead of putting "There is no Frieren next week" at the end of every chapter

It's because of the anime planning, when the author isn't that involved anymore it'll probably start being weekly again. The artist doesn't seem to have any issues doing a chapter weekly at least.

A story that finally portraits elfs exactly otherworldly enough to make me believe in how a fantasy life with near infinite lifespan would perception time and death so differently.

However, this whole arc is not good for my nerves as it feels like hitting a bit too close to home with all the proxy games and unclear objectives of the power to be. I just want a weekly Frieren back so we can get through it faster and calm my damn anxiety spikes.

tbf Frieren is normal post-Growling up (acknowledging her own emotions and mortality of the other races). Serie is still a child though.

because she is the most powerful being in the world, with an intelligence network everywhere and loyal almost exclusively to her alone, while having the maturity of a child so she is entirely vulnerable.
