No seriously though why have we gone from longer debut chapters to "let's make the pacing worse by cutting the chapter into parts we release"? In general if I'm lost on the first chapter released without the goddamn synopsis then there's a problem. There shouldn't be required reading this early on. An exposition opening is better than this. Show don't tell is only a better method if you show something. And those random internal monologue asides feel less natural than an actual narrator explaining everything.

cause this is released in magazine format. So a bunch of different stories shoved together and handed to an reading audience much like how a shotgun sprays buckshot into a flock of ducks. At least few lethal hits will be certain.

The set up is actually a bit different. MC used to be a va/singer and then was tricked into a scandal and abanoned by agency. She turned full neet after being disgusted with the world and became the top players of that game/world she is in now.

She doesn't actually "die" in the real world. She got a pop up w/ the goddess asking her to "save" the world. She gets one shot and if she dies she goes back to the real world but if she clears the game she can either stay in the world or go back to real world and get 1 wish so her wish would be to erase the scandal so she can go back to being a va/singer... and she selects yes... and then we get treated to a teaser with the "goddess" being sus
