I would hope this arc gets over soon to give the author a fresh reset into the next one. Its pretty clear from the multitude of pople always asking about the plot that the story is kinda jumbled up to this point.

What? The story has been pretty easy to follow though?

Faust is an isekai protagonist who gets thrown into a genderswapped world and becomes a famous war hero who is coveted by the royal family. He doesn't want to marry any of them because his lands will be absorbed into their kingdoms amd he wants to retain his sovereignty out of respect for his mom. He joins Valerie because he hopes that with her low positiom he can live a quiet life defending his kingdom in peace.

The entire main political plot of the story is one hilarious misunderstanding. The queen wants to ensure a smooth succession for Anastasia so that her daughters don't fight. Valerie feels like she is always playing second fiddle to Anastacia so she strikes out on her own to recruit Faust. Anastacia is in love with Faust and wants him on her side. The queen thinks Anastacia and Astarte despise Valerie so she wants to take Faust away to protect Valerie from being killed in a succession war between the sisters. Meanwhile Anastacia and Astarte actually care a lot about Valerie and don't hold any ill will towards her.

Astarte actually despises Valerie, because of her incompetence while being a noble something she considers to be a heavy sin being a good for nothing noble. For her is aceptable to be an incompetent commoner, not if it is a noble because their duty is to lead and be good at their duties

Anastasia has a more aloof behaviour and seems more uncaring but she does care more than Astarte about Valerie even if she considers her a bit dissapointing and sometimes wonders if they really share the same blood

Astarte keeps the appearances mostly for Faust's sake, since hes Valerie's (temporary) retainer and directly insulting Valeries would make him oppose her something she really doesnt want

It is THAT much of a big influence. Without Guts, we wouldn’t have the “big sword OP” trope, and zweihanders will remain in a more niche/historical setting than now. Every single badass (especially male) chara with a big sword (yes this includes Cloud Strife) has been based/inspired by Guts.

Seeing him fighting now i undestand... this are just normal women and because more women are born as a all, there is a culture around defending men, because of it they are more sheltered and treeted like women would be irl.

That is why with training he just destroys women like papel, it makes sense... why they would never think about making a army of men? Too much tô lose and lets be real... he is the first male knight, and because of the culture i dont think men would like tô go tô war at all.

Oh no, they should have set it up early that the enemies are battle-hardened warriors and not pushovers in the battlefield once more (maybe another flashback to the atrocities they did in the village). Seeing him mow down dozens of women knights in a bloody mess makes our sociological brain reel in discomfort.

They are battle harded... but he is a complete monster of a man and they are women... normal women.
