@LonelyHikikomori It's fine, in most cases I wouldn't say anything, but that is an important scene so getting the nuance correct matters.
I would use: "I've always thought... || You were too cute to be a boy."
Technically "You had a girlish cuteness to you." but I think the other one flows into the line on the next page better. Your choice, though.
