To be fair, a good number of fans can see their idols/oshis just as much of a product as the managers/agencies who employ them do, even if they may not realize it.The entertainment industry is fucking disgusting with how controlling it is, and idc how much it is your dream to be a part of it, it is NEVER WORTH the pain and sacrifices you go through for companies that literally only see you as a product. Find the managers and castrate them for stealing joy away from children.
I've never been to a Japanese school, but shouldn't they be able to pretty well control who they allow in? Don't they have a wall and gate around the school? My local schools don't have that and it's basically impossible to get in without showing your ID and having a valid reason. They have cameras outside the doors you have to show it to before they even let you in. Although I guess the school festivals are supposed to be open to the public and not just students and their family/guests, since they went to that other school's festival and got in fine.I could see her trying to go in disguise, and kyo possibly talking her out of it and maybe gaining the trust of her Management that he also understands the responsibility she has as a celebrity, or I could see something a little lighter such as as the friends taking her around the festival on a video call or something.
Because I do think its a valid concern for the school at large that they want to keep her from bringing adults with cameras and random fans to the festival. The drama here in my opinion should be kyotaro being upset that Anna didn't keep him informed even though he's told her that he respects her career and wants her to prioritize it.
It's the same thing as twitch e-thots losing their simp followers when it's revealed they have a boyfriend. The image they sell is a "pure" (or more like "available") and attractive person, and the fan perception is often "I could be in a relationship with this idealized version of a person" and they financially support the person based on that idea. If it becomes obvious that the person is not "available", then they have no reason to nurture a parasocial relationship by buying that person's merch etc.I will never understand the Japanese culture thing of not letting famous people date or marry publicly.
This is also why Hollywood actors/musicians used to pretend to be heterosexual. Gotta keep that illusion alive. It's the same thing as twitch e-thots losing their simp followers when it's revealed they have a boyfriend. Everybody was bitching about how that just how it is with Idol life and they have to have this sort of relationship to move forward.Called it, her job is going to become an issue. How will Ichikawa deal with the new rules.
Poor Anna being forced to miss out on her school life.
I mean the interesting part isn't really the idol life that creates drama for sure. It will be how Yamada's schedule becomes busy. If Norio has Yamada become successful and therefore more busy and distant especially considering that Ichikawa is aiming for a different more rigourous high-school than Yamada. How will that affect the relationship. Yamada is rushing into Adulthood with a somewhat childish mind while Ichikawa has always been the more mature one in their relationship. Yamada unrealistically will want it all but reality will make her have to choose priorities and what happens when those include Her relationship?Everybody was bitching about how that just how it is with Idol life and they have to have this sort of relationship to move forward.
It was so obvious these issues were going to be dealt with but people were being so oblivious.
Yamada should learn from Mai San! The GOAT
I once called Yamada selfish (which she is because she has been pampered and sheltered so sometimes see doesn't see the selfishness of her actions) and got bombarded to hellI mean the interesting part isn't really the idol life that creates drama for sure. Yeah I agree in some aspects she is and I would place that being due to her being an only child. You see it in how Ichikawa is the one often having to make the mature decision. He puts Yamada first in almost everything. She may not realize it because of her upbringing. It's why this career will hopefully allow Norio sensei to explore the interesting difficulties that can arise because of it.I once called Yamada selfish (which she is because she has been pampered and sheltered so sometimes see doesn't see the selfishness of her actions) and got bombarded to hell
