Also yeah, Anna standing up for her boy even if she's only supposed to be a good friend to him.

And she's stuffing her face because of course she is. She's always been doing that. To be honest, she's probably still got a colossal appetite for a raging metabolism that means that shit just gets consumed in her gut-furnace.

Hilarious that Moeko invited Nanjou without expecting it to actually go anywhere. Fortunately, I think he's going to be stonewalled, anyway. Anna's grown more sure of herself since then, so I feel like she'd be able to shoot him down again, if she really had to, but I suspect it won't be necessary. To be honest, I kinda feel like his face upon hearing Kankan say Kyo was rejected screams 'I don't believe that'. I thought it was great he was also last to be picked and you could see it actually pain him. And Kyo got picked first, despite his self-deprecating thoughts.

Also, Kobayashi's little bro threatening Anna's future children with Kyo is not cool- you can see her getting upset while Kyo cringes in pain.


That Nakamura guy seems to be blushing around Serina. Wonder if he has a crush..? I mean, blushing isn't generally a sure-fire indicator, but for characters we rarely see, I feel like it's meant to mean a bit more than it usually would with a main cast.


Lastly... great that our twin-tail gyaru Kanna Anjou is seeing there's other possibilities for closeness between guys and girls... even though that's totally not what this is, but it helps to support the cover story.

Broadening the cast (seriously, who's the dude with Serina?), creating actual story beats that aren't just Icchi or Anna-centric going forward and, especially, fleshing out the main relationship not as the couple sees it but in how those around them do (both in truth and in how it's being "shaped").

The guy with Serina is one of Kugenuma's friends that supported Kyo during the mock cavalry battle as the horses. I suspected as much, so looked him up on the wiki and confirmed it. The third member of that mini-cluster friend group is a guy named Tate.

I sorta get the reason, but also i feel like the public rejection was completely pointless, and now it's just awkward writing. I hope this wraps up fast, cause it's really not that enjoyable to read. I get why they are doing this, and i can get why some people might enjoy this sort of writing because it's "relatable" but for me it's just not fun to read.

Kinda weird to complain about the cringe when it's been cringe from the start. It's kinda part of its charm, since it's about middle schoolers fumbling around with feelings and relationship stuff for the first time.
