The way I see it, Lynette is thinking that the prince couldn't look for a fiancee that's immune to him before because of his affliction (meeting her was just by chance), but now he can actually look properly with her suppressing the symptoms. Not sure on the details of how they'd test it though. Like, Lynn could let go of his hand for a split second to see who reacts?

@icarushector Look at the prince's reaction. That's ... nowhere NEAR the friend zone. That's in the "I love this girl!" zone. EDIT: Though you are right, the moment politics enter the picture, she's got literally nothing in her hand. She's basically a peasant who by serendipity happens to have a (very low) noble title - and *ahem* "nothing to work with around her bosom" physically lol.
@amaranthia I wouldn't be surprised if the prince simply removes her veil at the party and announces her to the world.

@FStubbs I don't think I put it quite right. I don't think he realizes that he is head over heels for her, otherwise he'd be looking for a way to make it work instead of the current plan. So, she's effectively friendzoned, but only until it can be made otherwise either politically or he starts to connect the dots (either about the inevitable three way necessary to make anyone else his queen or just how outrageously in love he is).

But exactly what does she think is gonna happen?
Shes gonna be there for every date the prince has with his new girl?
