Why did he get rid of defense up and not beginner swordsmanship? I mean, the fang of madness skill tree is an offensive type that was supposed to make other offensive skills obsolete, but I assume the defense up would still stack with his vow of heavy armor.

I'm surprised he gave up Defense Up being a tank-class character. Keeping Beginner Swordsmanship makes more sense if he was planning to go solo, but surely he isn't planning on ditching Luce, is he? Keeping Defense Up instead would indicate he's specializing as tank and probably plans to expand the party with more DPS members to make up for his loss of offense, but that didn't happen.

I wonder what the heck is up with his cousin? She seemed cartoonishly evil from the start and now she's completely unhinged playing serial killer on some helpless prisoners. So much for being a Sword "Saint". Well, I didn't expect a confrontation this early between him and those who threw him away.
