…I don't like that the anime and now manga too have Tilty be the one to find Anis here. In the light novel, it's the commoner blacksmith that is making all of Anis' projects that finds her (I forget his name at this moment). It provides a real connection of Anis to the lower classes, simultaneously demonstrating how her mindset is completely different from nobles on even more levels, and how her charisma can connect her with others quite easily. So when Tilty gives whatever speech next chapter, just keep in mind the situation of how it was originally given.

That aside, absolutely insanely well-done chapter. The expressions and pacing was exquisite throughout the entire thing.

She has magic power, what she doesn't have is an affinity for any spirits, and as magic is done through spirits as intermediaries she can't use magic. Though she can potentially use magic in the same way monsters do, and as she is becoming a dragon she has some abilities there. However such things would not be respected by the nobility anyway.

I must say that this chapter is really well rendered compared to the anime. It very much describes the atmosphere of the novel. I hope it goes on like this!
