None of them are at fault. Anis relinquished the throne because she believed Al would be a better ruler since he had magic. Since she was young, all she heard was how she was a useless princess since she had no magic. How could she know that the same people that didn't want her wouldn't want her brother. The only people who wanted Anis as a queen where those who crossed paths with her on a battlefield. Quite frankly, all we were shown in this manga is a crocked system spoiling greedy boomers nobles and lead by useless monarchs. Hell, even Euphie's father just passed her around when he thought she would be more useful by Anis side than Al (all of that after accusing Euphie of being incapable of keeping Al's interests). All the adults are disgusting and all the children are paying for their poor decision making 😮‍💨

In the original story, they peacefully join the right cause. But then mc stepped in and poured water to boiling oil...
She does remember the story at times but on the other hand slip her mind, Al wasn't the evil side of the story, neither any of supporting harem.
