There is no such thing as a "bad character" in this manga, (you can't) prove me wrong

Fuck thats something that this manga always gets right, jumping between hilarious comedy and serious moments extremely well.

Ive always had fun laughing at how useless Saki is and that sad look she gave her useless chocobo made me lose it so damn i felt real bad when we saw what shes gone through.

Wait a minute ? I thought it was pure happenstance you ran away together so what do you mean you wont be able to continue living without Saki, Bell ? Is there more to it then we think your close bond ? And im not implying some yuri stuff lol not that id mind it.

Fuck a full on lighting suit eh ? Welp thats fucking cool, gonna bust out the thunder breathing techniques.

Lightning is my favorite magic type.

I kind of don't like that she's the only one who needed outside help.

Well isn't that awfully fucking convenient? New powers as the plot demands.

I wonder if any of them have bothered keeping the core stones from these bosses and monsters they've been killing?

Still amazes me that a gag isekai has some of the best world building out there.

Yeah they have elemental magic but lacks some of the concepts that were rigorously researched with science. I could also imagine a cooky mage/wizard experimenting with the element and mostly just electrocuting himself and his test subjects
I think it's more that the other elements of magic (fire and ice) would be something that a human instinctually understands. We have the senses to feel temperature, so mages would be subconsciously making a useful layer of mana to insulate from the magic. It would be imitating something they know, like clothes or water. But lightning? We can't feel that, and don't have any experience in shielding ourselves from it. From his knowledge of electrical insulation in animals though, she could find a way to protect herself from the electricity
