Finally, exp (?)
Can't you just calculate what level you are by guessing the rate at which you level up?

So he just has to kill monsters for another 50 years, what the rush?

I kinda like the design of the inquisitors. Kinda wanted them to have more metal plate though, and maybe some gloves.

WARNING MATH BELOW

from lvl 4 to 5 1,100 xp he says around 2,200 to go from 5 to 6

So 3 to 4 should be 550

from 2 to 3 should be 275 is really 280 from chapter 2

from 1 to 2 should be ~140

In chapter 3 evil god said it had been 22 years

In chapter 3 it said that huge hell dogs gave 258xp, however originals only gave 18xp

We assume he killed most at 258xp over 22 years at a rate of 1 a day

22Y = 8,030 days time 258xp a day would only be 2 MIL xp

But using this calculation it appears that he killed around 26,345 hellddogs per day.

The guide says he needs 54.5 Billion for his next level.

He was gaining 4 levels of stats for only ~2,070xp

I will round this to 2,100 since we don't know lvl 1 to 2 or 3 to 4 for sure.

So 54.5 bil divided by 2,100 is 25,991,363 which should be his total level gains

Pretty sure any math you try to do is fucked by the fact that his guiding system is busted and doesn't accurately reflect his "true" level. Obviously, the true XP required for each level would keep rising, and the only reason he kept leveling up is that the demon dogs scaled to his true level perfectly, and probably gave increased XP as well. There's obviously no way Aeric could have been slaying more than like a hundred demon dogs per day assuming he still needs to eat, sleep, and shit.

Since the post was over 7 months ago...

The Demon Dogs didn't give extra EXP...his system went like this:

Round 1: Level 1-5 = EXP gained (for ease of calculation 2100x5 = 10,500)
Round 2: Level 1-5 = EXP gained 10,500 + hidden stats (EXP 10,500, I'm guessing level require goes up exponentially, so level 7-8)
Round 3: level 1-5 = EXP gained 10,500 + hidden states (EXP 21,000, he will be around level 9-10)

After 22 years, if we assume he reach level 5 in 1 weeks, that would mean his stats are: 10,500*52*22 = 12,012,000

So I guess we have to assume that since his requirement is so high...he was leveling up on a daily basis?

Sad that most if the previous earthlings were murderous bastards. Hopefully our MC can find some peace.

Those are some great calculations but as @noore said, the exp required for each level doubles.
At level 0, you need 70xp to reach the next level, at level 1, you need 140xp, etc.

It can be modeled with y = 70*(2^x) where y is experience required for the next level and x is the level.
Since the guide says he needs 54.5 billion exp, we plug that in for y and solve:

54,500,000,000 = 70*(2^x) divide by 70
2^x = ~778571429 take log2 of both sides
x = ~29.536

If you plug 29.536 back into the equation you'll see that it works out to 54.5 billion xp to the next level. But you can't be in the middle of a level, so it's either 29 or 30 right? Wrong, because if you change that value even by a little the xp changes drastically (because it's exponential). Level 29 requires 37 bil points and level 30 requires 75 billion points to reach the next level.

CONCLUSION: either our assumption that the points doubled (which is the only assumption we can make because that's the only thing the manga has given us so far) is wrong, or the leveling system doesn't make sense lol. Because there's no way the characters we've seen so far (who are like level 27 and 35) have gotten BILLIONS of exp to make it to the next level.

Side note, I hate how eager I am to do math when it concerns manga and anime but when I get math hw from school? Lol NOPE

Basically he already leveled up his stats but not his level, he's never gonna get any new skills. Poor guy
